Bettina Engelmann is the Industry Marketing Manager for Xerox Global Services specializing in the service offerings and solutions for the manufacturing industries.   She examines how manufacturing organizations use concepts and technologies like enterprise print and content management, Smart Docs, imaging, and knowledge management for reducing costs, improving productivity, and developing new markets.  In this role she serves as the thought leader and spokesperson for the industry on behalf of Xerox within client and executive forums and with industry analysts.  She is responsible for defining and executing the marketing strategies, plans and programs that are required for Xerox to be successful within the industry.

Engelmann develops and maintains industry expertise and applies it to identify new vertical offering opportunities, offering positioning, messaging, training and sales support.  She supports the field sales organizations to develop specific business opportunities with targeted clients and is the conduit for best practice sharing within the organization through her communities of practice and knowledge management activities.

Prior to her work in marketing, Engelmann worked in Xerox Manufacturing Operations, both as a Production Engineer and Operations Manager.  This included work on manufacturing efficiency and productivity initiatives as well as running a major production line.   Before joining Xerox in 1991, Engelmann worked for Digital Equipment Corporation in a senior sales position selling Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Just-in-Time, Flexible Assembly, Process Control, Quality Control and other systems to major manufacturers.   Additionally she completed engineering internships at both IBM and Eastman Kodak.  Engelmann holds a Master of Business Administration Degree, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering, and an Associates Degree in Printing Management all from the Rochester Institute of Technology.   She is also Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
